October is really going to be a test of perseverance for me. It’ll be the first full month of me being back in college and I will have taken midterms by the time it’s over. With that being said, I’m in a good grove of scheduling my work load while also having posts up (now) three times a week and a video every Sunday. We’ll see if I was able to manage by next month’s wrap-up!

I never thought I’d see the day where I’d read a non-fiction book from a wrap post but today’s the day!
I read The Botany of Desire a while back. While I don’t remember all the specifics, I do remember there being an awful lot about Johnny Appleseed ๐
Best of luck balancing the blog, the channel, and school!

I’m a mix of a little bit of everything these days haha, I’m happy I surprised you! And yes, Botany of Desire did indeed contain a strong theme revolving around Johnny Appleseed ๐ Thank you so much for your well wishes!

You did such a great job all around! What did you think of This Time Will be Different? I still need to read that one.

Thank you Leelynn! TTWBD was very much a 3 star book for me. The MC was very whiny and a grudge-holder, which got on my nerves. The writing was very much geared towards contemporary young adults, which is stated and to be expected, but I think it really muddled down the potential to highlight the Japanese-American internment justice movement that the book promised.
