I know, I know. I’m late to this. Oh well.
Hi everyone! For today’s post, I wanted to take some time to look through my Goodreads Year in Books stats for 2020. We can all agree that 2020 was definitely not the year we thought/hoped it would be, and that is particularly true for me in how many books I managed to read last year.
I began 2020 with the hope to read 30 books. By late summer, I reduced my goal to 25. By late December, I was RACING to finish my 20th book of the year. Needless to say, my original reading goal was not met. Nevertheless, here’s what I did manage to literarily achieve in 2020!

5,629 pages read across 20 books
Shortest book was 155 pages and longest book was 432 pages:
My most popular book was shelved by 1.7 million other people and my least popular book was shelved by 59 other people:
My average rating for the year was 3.9 stars
My first and last reads of the year:
And the 18 other reads in between! (In order from least recent to most recent). Click the “review” text to go to my review for any of these books!
I’m actually extremely happy that I was able to review a majority of the books I read in 2020! I’m hoping to keep the same energy in the year ahead, though maybe with a little less pressure on being so perfect. A few of these books I could have reviewed, but I found myself feeling as though my thoughts were not articulate enough to put together a whole review post. Though I know I that I do not have to write a review for every book that I read, I plan to do so when I have enough to say!
How did your 2020 go far as reading? Let me know below!

Always remember, it’s not about quantity but quality! I’d rather read a few great books than a lot of books that I thought were just “meh”.
