It’s week two for my version of blogtober here on Cierra’sCynosure! Here’s my responses for the prompts from October 9th-16th π
Blogtober is a blog series hosted by Anniek from Anniek’s Library and HΓ’f from The Library Looter. Hover over their names to check out their blogs!

…Does Vlad from the Sims 4 count as a favorite vampire? I honestly do not read books involving either of these supernatural beings so I have little input for this prompt. *Hides*

I’m currently 27 books through my 30 book Goodreads challenge for the year! I’m not doing too hot in the whole “read more nonfiction” goal I set for myself in January, but I’m still reading and ahead nonetheless!

So, I don’t have a recommendation for a witchy YA because I’ve never read one. Though, I recently have found a witchy YA book that has my interest PIQUED. It’s The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco!

This is tricky because I normally get around to reading every book on my physical TBR within the year I bought them. That said, I meant to continue reading the Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard 2018, as well as the sequel to H2O, The Storm by Virginia Bergin and The Bear and the Nightingale by Kathrine Arden

I’m sure if I was doing these posts daily, (as I should be) I would be writing an entire book review for this prompt. But since I’m doing blogtober my way, I’m answering this prompt by saying that my latest book review on the blog is for The Garden on Sparrow Street by Tilly Tennant. *Wink*

My favorite autumnal quote is actually the one I wrote on my October reading journal title page! It is “I may fall, but I will always rise again.” (fall is in orange and is therefore autumnal and you can’t tell me otherwise.)

Any and all characters from Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro (because who considers their situation good?), Ruby and co. from H2O by Virginia Bergin (because what gets more unlucky than killer rain?), and Nina and Robyn from The Garden on Sparrow Street (being a widow is…*shudders*)

Nearly this time last year (October 28th) I was reading Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert! Although this time last year I was in a huge reading slump because I was still adjusting to college life and having a hard time. (I’m happy to say I’m doing much better a year later!)

And that concludes my responses for round two of my version of blogtober! Thank you for reading as always, see you for round 3 next Friday!
